Q: Aside from biotechnology, how else does Monsanto improve agriculture?
Nature is a complex system and our approach to improving agriculture needs to take this complexity into account. We can’t just make better seeds. We have to find integrated ways to improve the process of agriculture so better seeds are grown using the best available farming practices.
In addition to biotechnology, we also use other innovations for improving agriculture. One of these is developing new ways to improve traditional plant breeding. Other improvements are achieved through agronomics solutions such as chemistries, biologicals and equipment technologies.
