Honouliuli: Preserving History for Future Generations

President Barack Obama has designated the site of the former WWII Honouliuli Internment Camp, located on property in Kunia donated by Monsanto, as a new national monument for historic protection. The designation is a significant milestone in the community’s efforts to preserve the Honouliuli Internment Camp into perpetuity as part of the U.S. National Park System.
