Monsanto Named Hawaii’s Best Place to Work 2018

For the second year in a row, Monsanto has been recognized as Hawaii’s Best Place to Work by Hawaii Business Magazine. Of the 70 organizations that made the list, Monsanto Hawaii took first place in the Large Business Category with 250 or more employees.

“As a proud member of Hawaii’s agricultural community, we are honored to be receiving this award for the second consecutive year,” said Dan Clegg, business operations lead for Monsanto Hawaii. “We will continue to prioritize our employees by providing the best work environment across our farms on Oahu, Maui and Molokai, while providing exclusive opportunities and benefits that exceed their expectations.”

Monsanto provides competitive rewards and benefits to attract and retain the best talent and foster a sense of ownership in the company. By offering competitive health and retirement packages, employees are able to customize their benefits to best fit their needs. Monsanto also offers personal development assistance, THRIVE for life (a wellness program that offers monetary rewards for meeting well-being goals), an employee bonus program, tuition reimbursement for continuing education, auto and homeowners/renters insurance, a generous vacation schedule, and unique family-friendly programs to help employees keep the right balance of work and family life.

Each year, Hawaii Business Magazine partners with the research firm, Best Companies Group, to identify and recognize the best employers in Hawaii. Winners are determined through a confidential employee survey and a review of the company’s benefits and programs.
