Monsanto Hawaii Supports the Leilehua High School FFA Program

Leilehua’s FFA Chapter conducts a number of school and community service projects. They fundraise by selling their produce at the local farmers market on a weekly basis, and  compete in district and state level competitions. In the past three years, the program has grown from 87 students to 187 participating in the school’s FFA program.

Monsanto Hawaii has been a strong supporter of FFA chapters in Hawaii. To date, our company has contributed $32,800 in financial assistance to various FFA chapters in Hawaii. These monies have been used to build aquaponic/hydroponic systems, fund equipment and supplies for school gardens, and purchase feed for an animal husbandry program.
